Harvest Sharing Program

So many things happened today. Vilma, Tom, and Mary went with our friends at Food Rescue to pick apples and grapefruit.

We then went to the Florence Douglas Senior Center to deliver what was harvested at the Vallejo People's Garden: zucchini, squash, and heirloom tomatoes. We also gave them the apples provided by Food Rescue through our Harvest Sharing Program.

Later in the day--at the Vallejo People's Garden--Tom, along with several other Touro University students, taught four groups of kids from the nearby elementary school how to plant seeds.
