Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved in the Vallejo People's Garden.  We are always looking for people passionate about gardening or those who want to give back to the community.  Your efforts go to help the less fortunate by providing them with healthy organic food.

Here is a sample of what you might be doing during a visit at the Vallejo People's Garden. Tasks change by the week but our priority is always focused on food production – so harvesting and replanting are common jobs.

Tasks we do regularly:
  • Planting
  • Composting
  • Harvesting
  • Weeding
  • Maintaining
  • Watering
  • Seeding
  • Transplanting
  • Pruning
  • Digging
To find out more about getting involved, you can contact us at (707) 733-3874, be a friend on our Facebook page, or e-mail us at volunteer@vallejopeoplesgarden.org
